Mel can refer you for normal and functional pathology with Clinical Labs including iron, zinc, vitamin D, MTHFR, hormone panels, stool samples and much more. These are not Medicare rebated when you see a Herbalist as they may be through your doctor. You can discuss what the best course of action for you may be if you require testing. Mel is always happy to work with your GP or can refer you to a doctor who is supportive of an integrated approach to your health.

Pyrrole testing can be performed on both adults and children where necessary.

All of these tests are completed offsite and are charged according to the labs individual fees.

Food Detective Test

Food Detective is a quick, simple and effective way to discover if you have food intolerances to 50 different food. Essentially, food intolerance is your body’s abnormal reaction to certain foods which can manifest itself in a number of ways. Symptoms range in people and can include headaches, migraines, rashes, painful periods, bloating and IBS-symptoms.

Bio-Compatability Hair 500 Test

Using a small hair sample, Bio-Compatibility testing identifies the influence (either positive or negative) that over 500 different foods and products has on the delivery and storage systems in each cell. This technique is based on the way in which the foods and products we use affect the flow of energy through the body. If the energy systems within the body are compromised in any way by a food/product that is biologically incompatible, the cells cannot function optimally. This may lead to an immune response, inflammation, and ultimately reactive symptoms.In this way, we are then able to determine which foods and products should be avoided and which should be consumed/used.

Our standard Australian test covers a list of over 500 foods and products— including all food groups, bathroom, laundry, and kitchen products.
